Today we had our Jezreel Valley fieldtrip that started with Mt. Tabor. Mt. Tabor is the suggested Mt. of Transfiguration. We went inside of the church, which was beautiful, and sang. Later we went off into one of the side rooms and had a lecture. We also had a chance to meet Brian's dad here. We went back down the mountain and apparently it was fun if you were in the car with halleluiah Joe...Ed...I don't remember his name.

We went to Nain next where the widow's son was healed and Beth Shean, the capital of the Decapolis. We had lunch and went swimming at Gan Hashelosha, which is a natural hot spring. Perfect temperature...lots of fun there...took pictures and jumped off rocks. Mostly it was just really relaxing. We went back to Ein Gev and read and did homework getting ready for Ancient Near Eastern at seven. After that everyone just broke off and did whatever they wanted to do...read, talk on the grass, snuggle, walk on the beach...

I think one of my favorite passages in the four gospels is when the woman washes Christ's feet. I always like stories, movies, books, etc. when I can relate to them. I think there are times in everyone's life when you regret things so much that you just want to hug Christ and have Him tell you everything is okay. We need to feel that Godly sorrow and sometimes just weep. I love this passage because it demonstrates perfectly how we feel sometimes, "[she] stood at his feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet" (Luke 7:38).
